Position
Webmaster

Project Objective
The original websites, constructed using Drupal back in the early 2000s, had fallen into disrepair and were plagued with functionality issues. To address these challenges, we made the strategic decision to rebuild the websites using WordPress, incorporating WooCommerce for their online store, and implementing Beaver Builder as the chosen theme. Notably, I introduced real-time inventory synchronization from the internal server, ensuring accurate product availability on the website. Additionally, I integrated an audible chat notification system within the premises for enhanced customer support. We also revamped the website structure, dividing it into distinct departments, each featuring matching layouts and department-specific color schemes.

Resolution
In close collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), I successfully integrated their internal systems with the websites, guaranteeing precise inventory management to prevent overselling of products. Given the absence of a dedicated website administration team, we established a web department, where I led with two direct reports under my supervision. Managing a vast content library comprising over 40,000 unique SKU numbers, each accompanied by 2-3 images, this project presented a substantial content management undertaking.
